Letter from the President

Welcome to Alpha Phi at Butler University

Alpha Phi has truly shaped me into the person I am today, and it’s hard to put into words just how much this sisterhood means to me. The women in this chapter are hardworking, resilient, kind, and have shown me what it truly means to be both a friend and a sister. It’s the little moments—like wandering down to the kitchen for a quick meal that turns into hours of conversation with a sister I don’t usually see or getting ready in the communal bathroom before class—that have made my time in Alpha Phi so special.

Being asked to serve as chapter president is a privilege beyond words. My goal is to lead in a way that reflects all the incredible qualities I see in my sisters every day. Joining Alpha Phi has truly defined my college experience and changed my life in countless ways. I hope this website gives you just a glimpse of the incredible sisterhood we share.

Dues

Alpha Phi is one of the more affordable chapters on Butler's campus with semester dues around $800 for members that live in the chapter house, and around $1,600 for members that live out of the chapter house. Additionally, Alpha Phi's cost for housing and food (which includes hot breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday-Friday and Saturday brunch) is currently $12,000 annually.

Academics

The women of Butler Alpha Phi have an average GPA of 3.55, which is above the all women's average and all sorority average at Butler. We pride ourselves with having a newly renovated study room on the third floor of our house with 24 hour quiet hours, as well as study groups.
